Accommodation: Casa Fiesta, Station 1 Boracay

Casa Fiesta, Station 1 Boracay

We booked Casa Fiesta for our 4 days 3 nights vacation in Boracay. It was a beachfront accommodation located in Station 1, Boracay Island. The guesthouse can be found near Astoria Boracay, Yellowcab and Havaianas. For our 4 days 3 nights stay in the guesthouse, we paid P10,500 for 2 rooms. Since we are 7, we only paid P1,500 each. Cheap enough compared to other posh hotels in the area. Besides, we would be staying outside most of the time so the rooms will only be used for sleeping and taking a bath.

How to Reach Casa Fiesta?

From Cagban Port, you need to ride a tricycle to the different hotels in Boracay including Casa Fiesta. You tell the tricycle driver to drop you off at Astoria Boracay. The tricycle fare to Astoria is 50 pesos. At the right of Astoria, you will see a narrow alley going to the beach. Walk through that alley. Once you reach the beach, walk to your left towards Havaianas and Yellow Cab and you will find this small fenced guesthouse named Casa Fiesta.

Basic Amenities

The room we got is located on the first floor, Room 101 and 102 to be exact. Room 101 is the room that has the window in the photo below. Next to that is Room 102. I was able to take a few pictures of Room 101 which happens to be our room. Apologies for the not-so-good photos.

Room 101 is bigger than Room 102. But both offers the same amenities. The CR has hot and cold shower. Both has a small refrigerator where you can put your groceries. The air-con is working really well. There's a spacious cabinet to put in your bags and stuffs. In Room 101, there's even a table where you can eat as well as a Cleopatra chair for additional seating space. Towels are also provided so you don't need to bring one.

Services

The guesthouse do not offer free breakfast. That's expected since the price is really cheap. But Ate Josie is very generous enough to offer free hot water and mugs for coffee. They are also thoughtful enough to hang our wet clothes in their laundry area. One thing I noticed is that they don't change towels. Another is that they don't clean the rooms. Maybe because we don't ask for it. But we don't really mind. What I like about Casa Fiesta is the homey atmosphere. It's like you're just living in front of the beach. Another important thing that I commend Casa Fiesta for is the security. They have a security guard stationed near the fence. You will really feel secured even there are lots of people passing by the area.

With the location and service Casa Fiesta offers, I can say that I'll be staying there again. I am recommending the guesthouse for those who are looking for cheap accommodations in Boracay. Like us, we'd rather spend on the activities and food rather than staying in a luxurious hotel.
