Do-It-Yourself Honda Bay, Palawan Island Hopping
A lot of us, when having a trip or vacation on a certain place, prefer to avail tour packages offered by various travel agencies. Definitely, this idea works for those who don't want to spend time researching and planning an itinerary and for those who have money to shell out. But there are times when tour packages don't work.
During our 3 days/2 nights vacation in Palawan just recently (September 9-11, 2011), we decided to plan our 1st and last days in Palawan on our own. Why? Because in package tours, the schedule is quite strict and you are not alone in the tour. There are also other tourists coming with you. Let's say your flight is delayed. You can't do anything but miss the trip unless the travel agency has a back-up plan for you. Just like our Honda Bay, Palawan Island Hopping Tour scheduled on our third and last day in Palawan.
